Stalling Issue Fixed!!!!!!
I have a 1996 Grand Jeep Cherokee Laredo that has been stalling without any rhyme or reason. I've changed the manifold sensor, cleaned out the throttle body, changed the primary coil, distributor cap, new spark plugs, etc, etc, Nothing seemed to work. Finally fixed it after reading a post regarding the ECU. Seems that there's a problem with the ECU and the center connector. As I would press the ECU toward the firewall with the jeep on the jeep would stall. I would then pull the ECU away from the firewall and the Jeep would start on the first crank. I decided to wedge a piece of wood, like the kind you would use to hold a door open, between the firewall and the ECU. I tapped it in until it was firmly in place with a hammer and the stalling has stopped. If you are having a similar problem this may help you out as well. Thanks to all who offered their help.
