spacer lift

Default spacer lift

I want to do a coil spacer lift in my 96 grand cherokee for cheap so i ws thinking 2". Will I have to replace anything with the spacers installed?

No but your shocks will limit down-ward travel. JMO

Yeah you do not have change the shocks but if they are the stock shocks it is a good idea to replace them. It will ride alot better as well.

It will ride a little more rough. But new longer shocks wont be much and it will ride a whole lot smoother

Buying new shocks as replacement would be the best option...
There are lots of affordable aftermarket shocks you can choose from which can give you great performance...

You will need to replace your coils for it...I used Adco (sp) for my front (adjustable from 1 to 5 inch)and teraflex for my rear. Unibodies like the GC have no such "body lifts" per se like pickups..as well as the shocks...

You do not need to replace the coils to do a 2" coil spacer lift,they can go right on top of the existing coils . If you're referring to "ACOS" they are adjustable coil spacers,if you mean "ADDCO" they are swaybars.
