It will only go on high like once every 2 weeks. All the other settings work fine just not high.

Do u mean the blower motor wont blow on high speed, or the little button for max ac wont work?

The motor won't work. I can turn the **** on high it just don't do anything. I heard it could be the switch going out but I don't know.

this would happen to my girlfriends wj....could check wiring under passenger side dash...hers was all melted

I would have to check, but it is either melted wire, blower resistor (usually when this goes it will work only on high) or the switch

It gets like 115 here and I had black leather interior so It's so hot in there and with it only blowing on medium sucks. My kids in the back seat burn up.

If high doesnt work and you can turn the fan down 1 position and it works, I would think the problem is in the speed switch itself. If the speed resister failed and took high speed out then all the other speeds would not work, also a speed resister would be a permanent failure not intermittant. I cant see the blower motor being a problem, or the wiring at least not affecting high speed only. You might still check the wiring to the blower motor though because they are known to get hot and melt.
