Default sold xj, grabbed a 94zj

Messed around with my xj for a couple months, then sold it to the 16 year old next door, more as a favor to him, He had $1000 to spend, hes a good kid, and I remember being 16 and broke. He ended up getting new tires and been good about working and cleaning on it, so it went to a good home. Had s10 blazer bastard pack, skyjacker shocks, tcase drop, 4in coils up front w/ LCA's and quick discos, and a welded diff and 31x10.50s...what was I thinking
anyways I picked up this zj for cheap, had a bad fuel pump. I like zj's, just as much as xj except for the crappy transmission, but its just a toy/winter beater. Its a 94, and I scored on it, has a 231 tcase!

I really would like to hear some opinions on a good lift, I'm doing 33s on this one, i'm thinking 4.5 lift + 2in spacers will be plenty. I know zj lifts are $$$. I dont want to drop the $ on a long arm though, its a $500 car haha. So opinions/places to buy a lift would be great help! thanks

Heres my xj, and the new uglyness..it needs a nickname

Well you dont need 6.5" of lift to run 33s on ZJs. I have about 4" on mine and I can run my 34" LTB Super Swampers on it. If you wanna do it on the cheap then try and find a set of factory Up Country Suspension Coils and add in a set of 2" pucks. Thats how I went about my lift. I have about $400 into it.

Street tires are 255/70-16" Hankook Dynapro ATm's.

Those Dynapro tires on the stock wheels look fantastic! I'd like to do a lift and get larger tires, but I wanted to keep the factory wheels, now I know how to do it so that it looks right.

Thanks, I was very happy with how they look together also!! If I had the money though I think the new Good Year Wrangler Dura tracs would look just as good if not better!
