slow acceleration first/second gear....
hey guys was seeing if anyone has ever had similar problems with their cherokee having slow acceleration with first/second gear. as i gas it it would feel like im in neutral then jerks into gear after holding the gas down. its mostly noticeable going uphill if im heavy on the gas. if i give it a slow gentle gas it will shift smoothly and you dont feel the jump into gear or the over rev as you do on the heavy foot. this will also happen sometimes on the flat surface just not as much as the uphill. hoping its nothing major such as the transmission. 2000 jeep grand cherokee limited 117,xxx auto 4x4. recently changed tps, crankshaft sensor due to it dying out while i hit bumps. fuel filter, oil filter, starter, fuel rail, radiator, plugs, have been change since ive owned this (3 years). thanks

Make sure you check the fluid level in NEUTRAL, not Park. It makes a difference. It sounds to me like slipping clutches, hope it's just low fluid.
