Seat broke
My drviers seat is broken on the bracket that bolts to the floor. Would it just be easier to get a new seat or what. Id honestly like a racing style seat if they can be had for about 100$ is there a type thats good and cheap that fits the 01 Jeep Grand?

Easy weld job....

Cut your way in, weld your way out.
Do a good surface clean up job prior to welding. Our butcher mechanic at work has "repair welded" the fork truck seat three times. Needs to have his tool box confiscated and be sent back to kindergarten for basic welding 101. PS: Pull the seat out, don't weld it in the truck! |
Common problem.

Have the same issue with my 98 ZJ front left bolt pulled through the mounting points, it’s essentially a rocking chair on wheels. If I had a welder I’d put it back together and call it a day. Instead I’m just going to take one off of a junk yard Jeep. |
My seat has some leather rips too. and now is broke in a second spot.
Is there a type of bolt pattern i need to know to get a generic seat? Id honestly really like a racing seat and from what I can tell, no one makes one specially for this make and model so I would need a generic seat. http://image.fourwheeler.com/f/48512...-racing-seats_ |
