Default rocky road 3.5inch lift

Hey everyone new to the forum, got an 04 grand se 4.7liter quada trac 2. Want a good off road lift and on road ride wondering if any one has this suspension, heard good things about OME. Also heard rocky road has terrible customer service. Are their parts good?

Default jeep lift

Haven't heard anything about rocky road. But as far as the OME lift I have on on my Cherokee,so far its great. I ordered mine from Quadratec, there customer service was great, got my parts as quick as I could (for living in California). It is my DD so I didn't want to go big so i did the 2 inch standered duty kit, it rides better than stock.

I had a rocky road lift on my Grand, I didnt have a problem with their customer service when I ordered my lift and the ride quality was pretty good, it would have been better if I didnt roll 33 boggers on my Grand, lol.

I had the 4.5 inch lift with the 1 inch spacer kit, it sat a little taller since I had 33s on it. What I meant by a good ride, is that when I traveled down the road, it was a comfortable ride, wasnt harsh or anything like that, rode like a stock ZJ. I wish I didnt get rid of the Grand but I got a 5.9L with a Rubicon lift on it and I love it. Hope that helps you in your decision.

claytons, kevins offroad, teraflex, rubicon express all offer top notch quality jeep suspensions but IMO best bang for your buck is iron rock offroad

Must say, I put a Rocky Road 3.5 inch lift on my 03 Grand Cherokee Limited. It was horrible! It squeaked and the front end was sloppy. I had the entire thing taken off, boxed up, and mailed it back to Rocky Road. (He was very cool about it and the shipping was very reasonable.)

I then got a 4.5 Rusty's and am now dealing with the infamous, "death wobble" issues. Having the upper/lower control arm bushings replaced Friday. Mind you, I've only put about 800 miles on the lift and NO OFF ROAD!!!

Will keep you posted if you like.

Here is a great thread:
