Reset "service 4wd system"
I recently had my 2007 Grand Cherokee services at 60,000 miles which included the service of the 4wd system. They forgot to rest the warning sensor for service. Can I rest this my self or do I need to take it back and have them do this? It was not serviced by the dealership.

I had a service engine light that went on and stayed on. It was an interval light that goes on after a certain amount of miles and can only be reset by the dealer AFTER they do all the work. Hah yeah right I just let the darn thing burn out on its own at about 200,000

You can, but he took it in and either paid to have it serviced or they serviced it as part of a service plan, thus whoever did the service should have turned the light out and he should take it back to them and make them fix it even if it is something so small
