The FPR on your WJ does not require the tank to be dropped. It's built into the external fuel filter, will cost about $30 to replace, and is easy to do in about 15 minutes (I did mine a few nights ago).

Hey I'm having sorta the same issue, but mine has a couple of corks about it.
01 Jeep Cherokee hard to start when warm, not hot, not cold, warm. Black tail pipe, sluggish response, hates hills, back fires every once in a while.... is this the fuel pump? The dealership I bought the Jeep from said they changed it.
