Default Replace PCM, or TIPM, or both?

2008 GC Limited, 4.7 v8, 120k. I am the new owner. I have no history on the car so i dont know what has been done to it but everythinglooks clean.

When i first got it 1 month ago, it started right up and had no codes when i scanned it.

However when i drove it, loud noise from rear differential.

I had the diff side bearings replaced at a local shop. Loud noise has gone away. Drives and shifts good. But a 'clunk' if you slowly move shifter from P to N and back to P.

Other symptoms.
I took it on a 50 mile trip and half way back as i was accellerating from a stop light a real violent shaking and shuddering started at about 35mph. I slowed down gradually as i was on freeway, and pulled over. Still running, i put in Park, then Drive, and started back up. No shuddering.

Then i noticed rear lift hatch would not open.

Then it would not start right up - acted like bad battery. Then engine light came on.

I did a complete scan: C2202, C2100, C2101, U140E, U0415, C140A, P0562, B210A, B210B, U0019, B1435. So many codes.

I have a friend who had an 07 GC that drove him crazy until he replaced the PCM. I would welcome any and all comments on this unusual problem.

Many thanks in advance
