Default removing trans cooler lines to radiator

My step-daughters vehicle overheated and blew out one of the plastic tanks on the radiator. I'm going to help her out and replace the radiator, I need to know how the transmission cooling lines are removed. Are they just threaded fittings? She has a 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo , auto trans, 4.0. Does removing the air cleaner housing help with gaining better access to the top line?

My 95 had lines that screwed on at the top line and has a quick connector on the bottom, not sure on a 2004 though.

I have removed the radiator, shroud, and cooling fan. This cooling fan has the three wire connection. (#1 blue, #2 black, and a #3 blue wire). When bump testing I tried applying +12V to #1 and then #3 with gnd on #2...is that correct? Motor spins with +12V on #1 and ground on #2, nothing happens when +12V to #3 and ground on #2....is #3 suppose to be for high speed? Any tips to removing the metal clip that holds the fan blades to the motor shaft? (in case I decide to go ahead and either replace motor brushes or the entire cooling fan motor)

I thought the 2004 had the tranny lines connected to the AC condensor....mine has.

Perhaps you have the tow package because this '04 doesn't. I'm just guessing that could make a difference. I'm also guessing you don't know how to remove the clip that holds the fan blades to the motor shaft?
Any idea why +12V on pin #3 (other blue wire) doesn't turn the fan on like +12V on pin #1 does?

Mine does not have tow package. Tow package has both electric and viscous fans and 3:73 axles

fan wires are as;
Yellow is high speed
dark green is low speed
white/black is ground

Thanks for that info, I was able to verify both speeds on the electric cooling fan are working. The high speed kicked in after I applied 12V to both blue wires going to the motor at the same time (yellow & green on mating plug) You were correct, the yellow is high speed, green is low.
