removable doors on a 95 zj?
 
my buddy is wanting me to do the removable door mod on his 95 4 door zj i did it on my 89 xj i was just woundering if anyone has cut the hinges on a zj the look like there would be much to hold it if i did it like mine if somone has done this id like to see a pic befor i start experimenting on his dd

I will be watching this because I was interested in doing the same on my 94 ZJ but havent found any information on how to do it or if it is possible!

4 - 10mm bolts and the connector needs a T-25 Torx to remove. Takes less than 5 minutes.

Just add a mirror... Putting the doors back is easier with a second person, but can be done by one if you have to. And the bolts aren't even alignment critical. Almost like Jeep EXPECTED us to pull the doors.:thumbup:

so you just unbolt them and then bolt them back on instead of making hinges

Was looking at this too for my 95, but it's the DD so I've been hesitant to cut into the hinges. I'll check out that site too.

Don 't cut the hindges. Unbolted the wire harness at the door. Then unbolt the door. No reason to cut.:cheers:
