rear track bar???

Default rear track bar???

should i be able to grab my track bar and pull it up and down and it move? its moving around on the side that bolts to the axle? how do i fix this problem? oh and by the way this is a daily driver so i need to fix it asap

you can try just tightening the bolt. if it still moves, you'll have to replace the bushing.

the upper control arm is in the way. do i have to take it out to get to the nut

I'm thinking that the rear track bar's really don't do much. Mine is gone, removed it when my XJ got the lift kit installed. That's pretty much the "norm" on lifted Cherokee's.

Just thought i'd give you another option!

xj's don't have a rear track bar, you're thinking rear sway bar.

yes, you may need to drop that end of the control arm then. if that what it takes to repair the track bar bushing/bolt.

and yes i dont have a rear swaybar either.

ok i will try that. i should only have to undo the one end thats in the way right or do i need to take out the whole control arm
