rear sway bar on a ZJ
ok i am not a ZJ owner but my brother in law is and im helping him build it so he can start wheelin it and stop riding with me LOL anyways it his DD so we put disconnects on the front and we was wondering bout the rear...is it ok to remove the rear sway bar with it being a coil over...thanks

A lot of people have different opinions on this, but I pulled the front and rear sway bars off my old zj...daily drove it for a couple months, it did have a bit of body roll, but never once did it even come close to feel like it was gonna tip over...just drive it like a jeep, not a race car...and it will flex ok with the sway bars on, but not near as good without them.

I removed my rear sway bar and I don't feel that it made a big difference on the street. This is my dd as well. Removal of it did help with flex offroad.

I don't have a rear sway bar in mine either and you really don't notice it on the road but you will when flexing
