Rear question.
I changed the rear in my 97 jeep because the pinion bearing was going. Well when I changed it, the tag said it was 3:73 ratio. So I buy the rear and put it in and long story short it was a mislabeled rear. So 3:55's up front 3:73's in the back. Since I can't find another 3:55 rear for some reason, could I swap out the front and out 3:73's up there without messing anything else up? For instance. Will the 4 wheel drive still function properly? Will I need to do something with the computer? Thanks for any help.

As long as front and rear ratios are the same you will be ok. Your speedometer will probably be off though. Get the speedo sender from the donor vehicle also.
