Rear end noise?
I have a '97 Grand Cherokee Laredo. Just put it up for sale last week. Now today I get this aweful noise coming from the rearend. I checked the fluid in the rear pumpkin and it is good. I'm not sure what else to check. Very noticable with the speed of the vehicle. When I slow down, you can hear it wind down. Hard to explain. Any suggestions on what I shoudl check? Thanks, Chad

That weird noise from your rear is gas.......kidding man. Either you have a bad bearing, be it pinion, diff carrier, or wheel. But odds are, your gears are prolly worn incorrectly as someone in the past might of tried to rebuild the rear and didnt set the backlash correctly.
