Ok here's the deal, Either MC Hammer is under my hood or I have an exhaust leak or crack.

Jeep runs fine and is smooth.
Changed oil and heard what sounds like a bad rocker.
Put pry bar on valve cover and all accessories and everything is a sweet smooth humm.

Does not increase with RPM's and does not make noise under load.

Plugged tailpipe and could not hear of feel a leak from the top.

Can that tinny little header make such a sound?

I'm ready to rip the lifters and rockers off and pushrods.

I hope the 4.0 doesn't have those aluminum rocker bridges like AMC's of past. Wait maybe I do as it's a simple fix.

an exhaust leak will increase with rpm. I know I have one on my diesel right now.

I'm going to take some video of it. It's strange.
Had no time to deal with it because of no sleep and the dog ran after a ground hog and pulled my mother down and I'm sitting at the hospital to have her wrist xrayed.
