Radiator Mishap

a/c compressor froze going down the road,i thought i could go the 2 miles to the gas station, and when i pulled in it made a lot of noise.............it broke the balancer  Well i was trying to get the radiator out and kinked the bottom A/T nipple coming out of the radiator,,,it looks like new i hate to replace it,,is there any way of salvaging this A/T nipple or is radiator a paperweight ?? i know on my Blazer, the previous owner used rubber hose and doubled the hose clamps..i dont usually do things like that, but if it will work ??,, the blazer has almost 300,000 and its held up on it ..any help appreciated

Welcome to the forum!

Sorry for the problems!

Can an image please be posted? My A/T fitting is flush to the tank, nothing to kink.

One possibility is to NOT use the A/T cooler in the radiator and just use an external A/T cooler in-front of the radiator.

Is the radiator holding antifreeze w/o leaking w/ this nipple problem?
