hi guys...

my left side door (passenger) window stopped going up and down...
figured that was pretty simple fix, so took door panel off...

but once i did that i found that the relay for the motor is clicking fine, AND not only is the window not going up and down but the main 6 x 9 speaker is not working also....

is there a common wire for both?

anyone got any ideas?

the light in the door is still working as does the door lock, just window and speaker not going...

broken wire in the loom maybe? but two wires? one for speaker and window?

check the harness that runs into the door....the door opening and closing can cause the wires to become brittle and break

try a known good speaker, the one there may be bad. On my 99 GC
the one on the drivers door was bad, just replaced the speaker.

do all the other windows work?

ok, well fixed the speaker..thats working now... still no window working tho... seems strange as power is getting to the window relay in the door as i can hear it clicking.....
