Default power window

2001 cherokee classic
passenger side window will not go up or down with passenger side controls but will go up and down with the driver side control.
is there anything it could be other than the switch on the passenger side?

IDK about your XJ, but my WJ has a window lockout button on the driver's control panel that I sometimes set with my elbow by accident. With that activated none of the windows work except from the driver's position.

tried that one yesterday before i bought the jeep and it didnt work. this morning i changed the oil put new wipers on flushed the radiator checked fuses and the normal basic crap one does to a new used vehicle. well its working now i dont know what i did or didnt do right the first time.

im glad its working because this thing is converted to right hand drive for my wifes rural mail carrier job and theres no way her little 5 foot tall self could reach all the way to the driver side to operate the window.

thanks for the tip!

problem solved, forgot to update. used this video for direction
however all i did was cut a wire off an old speaker about 3 inches long and stick it down the ends of the connector, been working fine for months.
