i have a 95 cherokee country 4.0L and i have this part that leaks anit freeze from but dont know whats it called and dont see it in the books they have at auto parts store.

i cant really take a pic because my phone dont have a flash and when i get home its pretty late but ill try to say it as best as possible.

its a small black round part that is connected to i think the heater core. it has a vac line connected to it as well.

4 lines are conected to it and it looks like it could move up and down from the back like.


if u are standing in from of the jeep with the hood open and facing the motor its on ur left hand side near the motor and towars the back kinda right above the oil filter.

is that common or am i the only one that has this?? ill try to take a pic of it this week to try and help out.

I'm pretty sure you are referring to the heater control valve. I'm not sure if Chrysler still carries them anymore.

Heater control valve,Napa should have it.
