Default trans cooler fail

ok my 2004 jgc limited 4.7 v-8 the trans cooler failed had to replace the radiator 130 dollars took about 6 hours to do not bad the problem is now is that when the cooler failed it dumped antifreeze into trans mission now from what i read and hear the trans has to be rebuilt because the antifreeze ruins the internals in trans i tried to flush out but it is now slipping.i do not know what to do ammco ballpark is 2200 to fix rebuilt is 1350 without install or junkyark is 350-700 for used without in stall this jeep is going fron 5000 in my area i was thinking of changing the trans out myself anyidea how long and if i could do it with success? thank you for any input
