Default ZJ Over Heating! HELP!!!

I just replaced the radiator on my 94 ZJ with the 5.2 V8, replaced the coolant and she ran fine for 2 days. Now she is starting to over heat bad! I don't know where to even start looking for the issue. Any help is appreciated! This is my baby and I would hate to see her go out like this!

When was the last time you replaced the thermostat?

I replaced the thermostat within the last 6-7 months, so it shouldn't be bad but I know that doesn't mean that it isn't bad

Does it overheat when in motion, or sitting still? And how hot is it getting?

It over heated while I was driving it, it got all the way to the 260 mark which is the hottest mark on the gauge. I've been told that I have a blown head gasket and should look at new motors

But is it hot? The gauge/sensor could be bad.

It was spewing coolant out of the overflow/fill neck on the actual radiator so yes it was hot and the radiator and cap are brand new

I looked at the oil dip stick and oil fill cap before leaving for work this evening and neither have water or any kind of condinsation on them leaving me to believe that I do NOT have a blown head gasket but I am not for sure since I have never had a blown head gasket before. Just so there is no confussion I DID NOT drive the ZJ to work!

Were the old radiator tanks cracked, blown apart, or swollen?

The actual tanks were split apart and seemed to be swollen and there was a hole in the radiator itself

When i bought my 98 5.9 i took it for a good long drive and it started heating up and spewed some too. The first thing i tried was a rad cap and it cured my problem. Not sure if thats it or not but it is what happened to mine.

I just got a new radiator cap when I installed the new radiator, it was required for the lifetime warranty so I wouldnt think that it would be an issue since it is new but worth looking at

if there is coolant leaking out or on the plug what would be the issue/ what needs to be fixed to stop the over heating? I will look at this when I get home since I am at work now
