Overflow Bottle Help

Overflow Bottle Help
Stupid question, but here it goes anyway...
My son was working on fishing something out of the overflow bottle of our '99 GC, but now we can't figure out where the second hose connects. The hose in question is on the opposite side from the one that goes to the radiator.
Can someone please help me out?

It will not go anywhere. it is the over flow line, instead blowing water over your engine compartment it will go on the ground.
