I have a nice jeep xj with a 2" lift and cut fenders to clear 31s, my friend has a nice wj thats fully loaded with the 4.7HO but is stock. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each? And opinions, I can give more info as needed.. How expensive/good are WJs lifted on 31s - 33s?

What's in it for him? In other words what prompted this to even come up? Is there something wrong with yours or his? Typically in a trade proposal someone stands to gain more then the other. Maybe its just that he wants a modified vehicle.

Here's the bigger issue...I never buy anything that isn't stock. Why? Cause when I build it I know what has been done to it. A stock Jeep has probably (I said probably) seen less air time then the one I buy that's jacked up with swampers. If you make this trade and one of these jeeps buys the farm within a few months you could loose a riendship.

Never do business inside the friend/family circle imo
