np 247 to np 231 swap
Not really tech but I just finished this swap on my 02 Overland. Used a np 231 dhd. Has the wider 1.25 chain and 32 spline output shaft. I used the shift arm for a 4.0 WJ with the np 242. No mods required. Front drive shaft was fine. Had to shorten rear drive shaft 2 inches. Used a combination u joint because I had to use the yoke of the dodge to fit the 32 splines. Any questions just ask.
