Noise from the rear end at high speed
I have a 93 grand cherokee limited with the 4.0. between 65-75 mph i am hearing a weird sound from the rear end it's almost a thundering [pretty loud] with a small vibration . i have some pretty agressive tires on her and there pretty new i can hear the tire noise as i pic up speed the normal tire noise but do they change pitch at a certain speed. or am i looking at the rear end issues. The rear diff, is full no dripping from the pinion seal or axal seals. B-4 i get into putting new carrier bearings and pinion bearing i was hopeing for some insite to what you guys might have to say that might save me some money and time. Are there some test i can do to at least narrow it down....thanks
