I did some searching but couldn't find any answers. I have a 1995 grand limited and have no tail lights. I have checked every bulb, fuse, and relay I can find and still no lights. I looked at the ones under the glove box, and in the quarter panel, every thing is good. I have even tried a new head light switch, and combo switch. Nothing I can think of solves the problem, anyone have some ideas? My Jeep is worthless with out lights, I need to get this solved ASAP! The head lights, break lights, turn signals, and the back up lights all work. The computer in the console does not show any thing at all, it normally says rear lamp failure if something is wrong.

I had an 91 with the same issue. Does it blow the fuse? Had mine looked at by mechanic and he thought he had it. Well he thought he had it until he shut the tailgate. He then was able to trace the wires back to a ground wire behind the rear drivers quarter panel that had come lose. While tailgate was open it was fine because tailgate is fiberglass. When it shut it grounded out on the metal gater latch. Never had another issue with it. Hope this helps.

I have checked the grounds, and it doesn't blow the fuse. I have a feeling it's the body module, but there expensive and hard to find. I will keep you posted. If I figure it out I will post the fix.
