no speedometer or tach.
so I replaced the trailer connector on my wifes 04 grand Cherokee which I cut old harness and wired new one with 7 and 4 blade connector.as I was testing wires and marking them for hook up I ran battery down lights and gauges started flashing.
Put a charger on battery for about 40 minutes started right up but no tach or speedo looked around on web needles were not below stop pins as some people have had did the push trip meter button turn key forward trick gauges swept up back down and reset but still nothing unhooked battery for 40 minutes still nothing.I am assuming the wires on trailer harness hopefully have nothing to do with this
any help would be great before my wife murders me
