No power
 

I have inherited a 1995 Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 V8. The problem is it has no power, it will start and run, but as soon as you give it gas it bogs down and starts to stall. I am not very familiar with Jeeps so I am trying to learn. I had an Xterra with a similar problem that turned out to be the distributor and the crankshaft position sensor. Any ideas if this could be the same?
