Default new valve lifters, noise for 2-3 min?

I did the frist start after replaced to new lifters, is it normal that the lifters make noise the first 2-3 min, does it take so long to get them filled with oil? On idle i did hear some noise after that to, but it sounds like only one of them, but when it got hot the sound was gone. I then shutdown and let the engine cool some time (1/2 hour), when starting it up again the noise was gone. I will let it cool down totaly to fill some more coolant and then see, but its sound normal?

It can take some time for the air to be pumped out of the lifters .

New lifters should be primed before installation.

No, the ZJ 93 service manual says "It is not necessary to charge the tappets with engine oil. They will charge themselves within a very
short period of engine operation."
My concern was if short time is 2-3 min. I did lube them (bottom and side) with some lucas lube stuff before i installed them.
