New GC with a few problems

New GC with a few problems
Hello all I am the new owner of a 1995 JGC laredo with the 5.2L and leather. it is a very clean jeep and was able to get it for 2,300. It has 145k miles and runs very strong. I just had a couple problems that I could use some jeep expertise on.
1) factory security system sometimes doesnt recognize when I open the drivers door with a key resulting in the alarm sounding. I have to run to the passenger side to unlock the door with a key. I dont really need the security so if there is a way to disable it and let the car still run that would work great.
2) rattle/knocking from the floorboard that i can feel with my foot on the floor. I replaced both the motor mounts and it helped this rattle/knocking quite a bit. but it is still there and just as audible when you find the perfect RPM while driving it goes crazy. the driver side came out in 4 peices and the passenger was shot as well. I didnt replace the trans mount but it didnt really look bad.
3) Maybe this is the knocking Im feeling but the catylitic converter is broken inside. I know this is common as my buddies 94 JGC 5.2 does it too but he doesnt have the knock/rattle that mine does. That makes me believe this isnt what is causing the knocking.
I dont really have a trusted assistant to put it in drive and hold the gas while i look around underneath. But I was hoping it was a more common problem you guys would know about. I tried doing searches on these but couldnt really find what i was looking for. Any help is appreciated , Thank You!
