I have a 2002 grand cherokee with a 4.0 that wont start when hot, have had it scanned and doesn't drop any codes, once it cools back down it starts right up and runs just fine, any advise on which direction to persue

those are some of the symptoms a faulty crankshaft position sensor will cause.

4.0L or the v8?
