Need some help
I have a 2004 grand Cherokee with the quadratrac. Is it possible to put the normal transfer and transmission in its place without to many problems? And would it be beneficial?

You can replace the transfer case without replacing the transmission. They're separate units, and the t-case unbolts from the trans.
If you switched to the 242 t-case, as used with Selec-Trac, you would gain the option of having 2WD. Look at this. >->http://www.wjjeeps.com/tcases.htm
