Looking for opinions
It's time for a new set of tires for my 97 ZJ.
I currently have a set of Goodyear Fortera that were on the GC when I bought it. Overall I was not very impressd with the tires, mediocre traction in rain and snow at best even when they were pretty much new.
My GC spends 95% of its time on paved roads and what I'm needing is a good tire at a reasonable price that will hold the road well in the rain and very light snow. I run 235/75 R15 and the vehicle suspension is all stock.
Anyone have any suggestions, good experiences with a particular brand and model of tire that would serve my purpose, or even suggestions of tires to avoid?
Thanks

I have Big-O Bigfoot A/Ts on my ZJ and I love them. They're made by Cooper, they are wearing like iron, give great traction on and off the road, and I got them for a good price.

General Grabber AT 2's. fairly easy on the wallet and good for light snow and a decent amount rain as well as a little off road. they wore really well too. I had about 15k miles on them and they still had lots of tread left. I would say they would be good for somewhere between 30k and 40k miles. I had them on my 2wd Tacoma and was able to go through some light trails in NC. I'll be putting these in my XJ when it's time for tires.

Kumho kl-78 is a good all around tire. Ok in mild mud, with good winter siping that handles ice good. About 110 each for a 30x9.50 -15.
