I'm wanting to lift my 95 GC and put 31s or 33s on it. Any options on what I can do without having to change the track bar and driveshaft(s)?

i searching threw other threads and various websites and can't seem to find the right answer.

31s will fit on it stock, barely. If it has a cv yoke on the front axle 2" is the most lift you can get without problems. And if you want 33s and have the cv break out a sawzall or prepare to swap the yoke and shaft.

Here is my cousins 93 with 245/75/16s on it. Basically a 31 and it's bone stock. He messed up the rear bumper that's why it's off. They rub but with a 2" BB it'd be fine.

So since I have the CV yoke on the front driveshaft I can only put a 2" lift. Any opinions on the budget boost I've seen around? Comes with 4 shocks and some come with add a leaf spring package. I don't want to cut the driveshaft or replace the track bar since I have already replaced my track bar do to death wobble issues.

If you have a ZJ from my knowledge you wont need a leaf spring should be four spacers and shocks and youll be golden... Some come with Tcase drops but you wont need em. Maybe get some 2" bump stops along with the BB and have a clear saturday or sunday and knock her out in a few hours and enjoy

Thanks for your advice. Kinda the direction I was going. Found some 31s at a local shop ill go to check out tomorrow. If I get the tires I'll order the lift with some rims. My jeep never came with a spare and the local junk yards yank the rims before they become available. Might as well have 5 new perdy matching rims

Make sure you get a BB with 4 spacers, the one with the add a leaf is for XJs. And if you have an all wheel drive t-case never do a drop. It'll cause a lot more problems than it'll fix. My 93 had 4" of lift and 33s with no t-case drop and no vibes.

You can run 2" BB spacers front and rear.
Or you can pick up set of V8 coil springs at napa for about $130? Move your current front springs to the rear. Will give you up to couple inches of lift, ride will be harsher.
Or do both an go straight to 33's.
You will need bump stop extenders, sway bar link extensions, front end alignment and dial in some more caster.
You will need more money because once you start, ...............

I went ahead and purchased my tires and ordered stock black rims (ship right to my tire shop) and ordered a 2" BB all to arrive next week. Getting antsy gunna take a vacation day to wrench on it as soon as it all arrives. Also I saved about $100 on my tires since I bout 5

Also with the coil swap wont you need new shocks or will the stock work if your not going to use a 2" bb?

Pretty generic Goodyear wranglers. They'll look solid though. I'm a mood to forums how do I post pics?
