No such thing as a body lift on XJ's. Spacers will work on your front springs as you will be doing a suspension lift. Make THE "SEARCH" BUTTON YOUR FRIEND.

Well...how about that....its in Grand Cherokee Tech...so its NOT an XJ. Reading and payin attention need to get familiar with you, bud.

Yes, you can get away with spring spacers in front and back, but you may need to relocate brake lines. And at 3" you'll want to look at your front and rear trac bar mounts. Nothing new needed, maybe just a new hole.

Well, how about that! There's no body lift on a Grand Cherokee either...

Extended brake lines come in around 4-5", and you'll definitely need front and rear track bars.

you could get away with 3 inch spacers and no track bars, i did for about a year and decided it was time to upgrade, just get longer shocks, swaybar links, and mabye do something about your spring retainers i dont know... personally i would lift it at all unless you plan to dump a lot of money into it

Cute, where did I say you could body lift a GC? Oh, that's right, I didn't. I said you can use spring spacers in the front and rear. Nice try, though.

OP, did you mistype body lift when you meant spring lift? I assume you did, and you can indeed use spring spacers in the front AND rear of your ride.

Unless you redrill new holes for the track bar on the axle mount the axles will be off center, esp at 3".

i did the 2in bb on the zj i used to have (sorry no pics) and since it had new shocks from the po i just used the spacers and that was it. i used this kit- http://fatbobsgarage.com/i-6765291-j...1993-2006.html

i was happy with their customer service and very happy with the product and i recommend their products but if i had to do it over i would save up for a full kit. and i put a set of used 265/75/16 cooper discoverer sst's on it they rubbed a bit but were on stock wheels

Alignment, the toe will be off and could cause some wobble and tire wear.
