lift options
i'm considering a small 2in lift on my wj and it seems the 2 options are different coil springs or poly-spacers. what are the pro's and con's of these two methods of lifting?

as you can see, my taste is a bit different. i don't plan on offroading my jeep much (no serious wheeling, just a bit of weekend fun and minor towing), but on the same hand, i won't throw junk parts at it. i was concerned about the integrity and longevity of spacers. are there any drawbacks to using them.
edit, i also don't plan on requiring any further suspension travel, i'm never going to need any crazy articulation

do it then!!
no cons!
just do the 2" spacer lift and get longer shocks.
that way you gain lift and suspension flex.
it will ride soft like stock still too because of the stock springs.
just my .02c but I dont have a WJ do what do I know. lol
EDIT:
you can do this yourself in your driveway with basic tools

then yes u should just get the coil spacers. u will not get moer flex as noted above but u dont need to worry about that. and with only a 2inch lift... it wont stand out as much as you want.

cool, but do you forsee any problems with spacers and the added stress of towing? i usually haul a small boat or a well loaded 5x8 utility trailer

I wouldn't worry about it should be fine hauling things as long as your not hauling more that what the factory recommends for the jeep.

I think you should start looking for the coil spacers the you'll gonna install on your jeep... You don't have to worry since you are not doing this for off-roading purposes...
