To lift or not to lift?

To lift or not to lift?
I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo trail rated. I just put 4 BFG t/a ko tires on it. I would like to put small lift. Nothing huge, just enough to get the jeep to sit a little higher. I don't do any major off-roading on it or anything (still owe money on it). What size/brand etc do you recommend for this? The more info the better-this is my first jeep (and I love it )
Thanks!
Thanks!

I'd say find your self a Budget Boost about 2-2.25" all it is a spacer that goes over the top of the coils. They can run from about $90-$200 depending on were you get it....

Give these guys a call...

They can and will answer any questions you may have about any height lift.
You could also check into Old Man Emu 2" Budget boost or 2.5" coil lift. Kevin's Off-Road also sells a fairly reputable 2" BB.
*You will need new shocks with any lift to compensate for the extra travel.
* Budget Boost lifts (1"-2") are the cheapest solution. Quality of ride is compromised with a BB
* Coil lifts are the best option to maintain "near stock ride" with appropriate shocks.
There are a ton of choices out there. Ask more questions, keep shopping, and do all your research before committing yourself to a lift.
The higher you go, the more components you will need.

Got a skyjacker BB on mine, do not forget you will probably need longer front shocks at a minimum if you lift it 2" the factory shocks are too short. Rears are marginal so if you are replacing front might as well do the rears. Ride will be harsher and it will lean more in turns, most add a bigger addco rear sway bar in the back to lessen the roll and the harshness you just have to live with at it is from changing the angle on the control arms.

Thanks guys! Unfortunately I just realized that if I lift it then all my warranties will become invalid shucks, guess I have to wait a few years for that one... What about brush guards?

depends on the lift, I doubt a 2" BB would get anything voided. A 6" with LAs might be another story. Also depends on what fails. No way they could void an engine failure because of a 2" lift. Maybe suspension issues but nothing else.
