Lift Kits

I was looking at possible getting a skyjacker lift kit, it would be the 2" standard kit. Would I need anything other then the kit, Skyjacker kit #ZJ20-H or does it come with everything needed. Also will I have any issues with anything suspension wise or will everything be unaffected?

depending on the type of vehicle and what you plan on doing with it I would highly look into a JKS Trac Bar, they are the best out there in my opinion. I have owned both Xj's Zj's and now a Wj and I wish they all had a JKS Trac bar. but then again it all depends on what you plan on doing with your ride.

Without any info from you it is very hard to suggest anything not without a year and intended use. IMO for a 99-04 WJ the best 2" lift would be an OME kit very high quality with excellent ride for a DD or moderate of road use, well really for any Jeep with a small lift.

I have a 96 jeep grand cherokee, i just want it to be alittle taller not anything where I will run into issues with other things on the vehicle. Basically I dont want to have to replace other parts then the suspension.

Will I run into any problems with other moving parts on the vehicle?

You'll need longer brake hoses, an adjustable track bar for the front, a rear track bar drop bracket, and a dropped pitman arm. I would also recommend spending the money for a long arm kit if you're planning on going off road. Four inches with the factory arms will ride like crap and almost definitely give you death wobble. I have the Rough Country (shut up haters) long arm kit on my ZJ, I love the way it rides, better than stock. It was a lot of work installing it, but totally worth it.

What Brokeback was trying to say is that it'll cost considerably more to produce a reliable, safe, enjoyable ride once you move into the 4"+ zone.

$Thousands$

Gotcha, I don't want to spend that much, its just a vehicle to get back an forth to work when it snows.
