Default Lift Kit and Powered Alternator advice - 1994 Grand Cherokee

I did a search for a while but without specific success.
I am a NEWB ... so be gentle.
Oh - Greetings from the NW ... this is my first post.

I have a 1994 Grand Cherokee 4X4 I6 Auto.
90k Original.

I don't want to throw a ton of cash at this thing as I will be building my Ram Truck Up also.

What I want at the end of the project:
2" to 3" lift
Minimal hardware and labor cost but new over-sized 10 ply truck tires.
I will be installing a newer NP231 (Need advice on this also - If it will work etc)
Will poly Spacers with high end shocks be the cheapest and easiest???

I also want to swap the AC unit out for a High output alternator that has on demand controls to power up an Inverter and Battery bank.

Any suggestions where to look and what model?

Yeah, stick with a set of 2" spacers w/ some quality shocks, i.e. Bilstein's or MX6's. The 2" of lift will allow you to fit a set of 31x10.5's.

For the alternator upgrade, look at this:

This for the TC swap:

Stick to poly coil spring spacers. I'm not even aware of any company that's making an off the shelf aluminum coil spring spacer. I know several people across forums have fabbed up aluminum spacers, but as cheap as the poly ones are, I can't see doing anything else.

I don't think I've seen any aluminum spacers either, you can pick up some poly spacers on fleabay for $50 dollars though and they work just fine.

Kewl ... found some made of delrin ... but thank God I found some Jeep Liberty springs for $10 ... So I think I can simply move the front springs back and use one set of liberty springs as the front shocks?

Still have to measure.

Never heard of using liberty springs, only V8 ZJ springs for a F<R swap

That's because they won't work...Different spring diameter, different vehicle weight, and drastically different coil spring rates. OP, did you pickup the Liberty front IFS to swap onto your ZJ as well?

They won't work. Heard numbers of rumors they would ... but I decided to have a 3.5" lift installed with nitro shocks.
