Lift - do i need new coil springs?
Hi, i'm thinking of lifting my GC 1", it is a 1993 and has 160.000 miles on the road. Does the coil springs need to be replaced? I have two choices, either 1" leveling kit (spacers) or new coil springs from OME that are 1" higher, but the spacers are cheaper. Or would i get 1" higher from today just by replacing to new coil springs? Does a 1" lift require any other adjustments or parts, i got new shocks that can be used up to 3" lift.

you would prob get 1" lift from new stock coils just because your springs have prob sagged that much. but then your just at the hieght you should be.
OME is one of the best riding springs out there....goes with the saying, you get what you pay for.
you may need a t-case drop if you get any vibrations from the rear when you lift it. otherwise with a 1" lift, there is nothing past springs/spacers, shocks, and an alignment that you HAVE to replace when lifting it that little.
