Leaking T Case Fluid 247
I have the 247 T Case. I am noticing a light film of T Case fluid on the underbody, right above the yoke and rear seal where the drive shaft goes into the T Case. Its not dripping from the rear seal, and that seal looks dry so I don't think its the seal. Its not actually dripping from any area around the T Case. Is there another seal on the Yoke that I don't know about? Other than fluid sprayed underneath, I don't see any other potential leak. I am not losing much T Case fluid either. The level hasn't gone down since I replaced the fluid last year. Thanks.

I think there's a vent on the top of the case that might be clogged and the case gets pressurized when it gets hot, therefore forcing fluid out of any tiny imperfections in the seals. IMHO however.

Its a very thin film on the area that I drew on. It's shiny and you wouldn't know it was there if you didn't touch it. I am not doubting what you have suggested and I will check it out, but I am not sure how it would get just there and no place else. This is a stock photo. Not an actual picture of mine.
