Jelly Jeep!

Hi everyone, new to jeep ownership and site and I am sure I join a long list for this question! How do I stop my Grand Cherokee from driving like its made of jelly or jello to you guys in the US??? It is a 2002 model and has 17in wheels fitted with goodyear tyres. Is there a modification that can be done? It seems worse when on bumpy roads or uneven surfaces. HELP!!!

New shocks

Agreed with new shocks, also make sure air pressure is good in tires, a broken sway bar link will make it drive like that also.

Make sure shocks and tie rod ends are in good shape but even if they're good, many of us feel that the WJ drives top heavy. I'm upgrading the rear sway bar to an Addco next month and that's supposed to make a tremendous improvement in stability both in cornering as well as the feeling like the wind is pushing you around the highway.
