Jeep is running real rough after changing the CSP
Hey all,
I have a 2000 Cherokee 6cyl. the issue is when driving the engine stops
running but nothing else changes.
the check engine light did come on and it flashes as the car engine stops
strange thing no code is seen when i looked and it happened 10 min before
i snapped it in.
I don't see a drop in the volts on the dash nothing else seems to happen other then the engine stopping.
well to update i had some errors and it pointed to a Cam sensor.
changed that and the car runs now. the main issue now is that the car runs good for about 10 min. then it starts to rough idle and can stall.
it gives a miss fire error but i changed the coil and plugs are good.
Any ideas should i just replace the battery first i know its time for a new battery. But at this point it has to be a ground to the computer or still a bad sensor???

Old fart with a wrench
Who manufactured the CPS? Did it have a spacer button on it? JMHO, but change it with a Mopar part. I know it's new, but it could be faulty.
