I was hesitant at first but once you start taking stuff apart your confidence builds. I read a lot of threads prior to taking my heep apart. That helped.

Go for it. Nothing ventured, nothing gained

Easy. Check out my BT. I did 2 different lifts in 2 weeks.
Its a ZJ. I put everything so anyone can follow and if you have ? ask. anyone they will help out.
Heres my BT but go into the builds and check out more people to see how they did it.

Its not to difficult, I did basically myself, my girlfriend threw a hand in when I need it but for the most part I was by myself. Coil compressors are a must.
I found a trick for example:
if your taking the drivers side spring out, jack that side of the axle up and let the passenger side down and put the coil compressor on, the lower the side and jack the opposite side and compress the coil more and it should slide out. Be careful uncompressing the spring, usually pops apart, scary at first. And when you compress the new spring and wedge it in you can jack the side of the axle up to help compress the spring and take the compressors off so they dont shoot apart.
Repeat on each side.
Thats a quick run down. It took me about 1.5-2 hours per side to do. First vehicle I ever lifted. also had limited tools, no air tools, and no power tools.

You.shouldnt need a coil compressor. Remove control.arm.and swaylink on that side. Jack up opposite side. Put new coil.in and.give it a.pull up.and slide it in.

I left my control arms on and the sway links were already cut.

Yea or do the droop mod. I did that second time around.

The whole concept of changing these parts out is very simple, and all around fairly easy to do. The only thing that may hold you up is this... Most or all of those bolts may have been on there since it was built! A few of them may be a little stubborn to come off! Other then that, its cake!

You can do it yourself, but it's always easier and more fun to have someone else there with you.

Oh and your best bet is to just unbolt everything on one side and drop that side of the axle all the way to the ground to get the springs in and out, so much easier then compressors. I almost got one stuck on my coil, took me awhile to get that off.
