Im about to give up i need help

Default Im about to give up i need help

I have a 96 grand Cherokee with the 4.0 it hesitates spits and sputters when giving it gas or hit the brakes in drive ive replaced fuel pump fuel filter crank position sensor ignition coil distributor distributor cap and rotor plugs wires pcv valves and oil pump ive tested the throttle positioning sensor and volts are good wiggled all the wires around the pcm while while nothing happened what am i missing

Is the check engine light on? If it has codes in it they can be helpful.

This is out of the box, but check the wire harnesses under the dash where they pass the throttle and brake pedals and brackets. There have been cases where they've rubbed on the pedals and frayed the covering enough to cause electrical problems. I had a Chevy truck that cut out every time I hit the brakes. The brake pedal was pinching the ignition harness.

Such is the frustration of a parts changer vs a troubleshooter. Changed the oil pump?
