I need serious help from an expeirienced jeep ally
Hi! Hows everybody doing?
Okay now to the REAL question..
I have a 95 jeep grand charokee.. and the wipers no longer seem to work. WELL THEY DO WORK! but only on the highest speed. And it gets annoying having to manually move my wipers on and off on the highest speed to be able to see through my windowsheild!!
ANY BODY ELSE HAVE THIS ATROCIOUS PROBLEM? ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX IT? OPINIONS? HELP >

It could be either the wiper switch or the "Intermittent Wiper Module". I'll send you a scan via Private Message that will help you troubleshoot wiper switch.

He had a ZJ. I don't have the same info for a '96 XJ but I'll send you my XJ info which includes '97 & '99. Hope that'll help.

Its the intermittent wiper module.... Its located in the drivers side kick panel...
Well known issue... I have battled it over and over again, cause I keep getting used modules....

Do you hear banjos?
I didn't realize that was such a big issue. My ZJ never had that problem. As a matter of fact, when I sold it, every electronic gizmo worked well, and it had them all, it was a Limited. The only major problem I had with it was the POS tranny!!

I don't have a single problem with mine either. I've been sending them scans of the manual's procedure for diagnosing/replacing the switch, which is what I was asked for in a PM. Everyone keeps asking for the same thing. I'm not an electrician. What do I know? I'd replace the module first myself too.
