HVAC...Electrical problem?
So with my 'new' wj. I am having a problem with my hvac system. It blows 'hot' air when it is turned to 'cold'. Here is what I found out.
-The hot setting is a lot hotter then the 'cold' setting. So The bled door more or less works.
-As far as i can tell, there are no leaks. I put 2 small cans into it. Did not see or smell anything bad.
-The clutch is not spinning when it should. But I can spin it with my hand.
-When the clutch should be spinning i do not get anything past .(point)10v on both the plug above the compressor and the fuse in the box to the left of the battery
-I don't think the relay is clicking. I tried hard to hear it. But I am not sure.
-I did the diagnose thing on the wjjeeps site, the system reported no errors.
Any ideas. I really do hope you guys can help. All I have checked are the fuse and relay to the left of the battery. If there is anything past that, i don't know where it is. I did not see a hvac-anything fuse under the drivers side of the dash.
Thank you! I know this problem has been posted a few hundred times. But I kinda like to have the semi-personal help.

Update:
So now I know the problem...from testing and a lot of poking around. I found out that one of the switches is a pressure switch. Must be a fail safe or something. Anyways when i by pass that switch the clutch does engage and the compressed does things.
So now...I think I may do have a leak. I am going to pull a vacuum on it tomorrow and try to listen for a hiss. My new question is; is there anywhere on the system that are typical places for leaks. Just so i have a place to start looking.
Thanks again.
