How to replace fuel pump

Disconnect the two fuel lines. Pull the tank straps. Lower tank. Take flathead screwdriver and a hammer and tap the ring around to get it off. Pull out old pump.replace with new one. And reverse everything when taking it apart. Remember to get a new in line fuel filter too. Its located above the rear axle. Its not hard at all, but that's an opinion. I got mine done on my old 93 ZJ I had in 2 hours on the ground. Its not that bad of a job. If you have a hitch you have to remove it. And don't forget to take the filler neck off the tank before dropping. I also recommend buy new straps too. But its not needed most of the time.
